Our Junior Road Safety Officers worked with Matt Lenny today to record the speeds of the cars by the bypass in school.
Speed Gun Work
Primary pupils are selected by their primary school to be Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs). JRSOs help promote road safety issues within the school and local community.
The JRSO scheme is an effective and popular way to get serious road safety messages across to children and provides an opportunity to develop their communication skills. Pupils have the opportunity to deliver important road safety messages to the entire school community in a fun and innovative way.

Today our newly appointed JRSO's met with the Road Safety team and Matthew Penny to start our JRSO challenges.
We now how lots of ideas to begin with and look forward to working with Matt and Mr Lewis to make our pupils aware of some of the safety procedures when using the roads.
