Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
World War 1
Half Term Homework Task
After October half term all children will be completing some work on World War 1 and remembering those who went to war to fight for what we have today. We have decided to concentrate on this topic throughout the school as 2018 marks the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War 1.
To remember this we would like to create a poppy garden/ memorial in school and would love the children to make a poppy over the half term holiday.

We would like to invite our parents to this years harvest festival which will be held in school on Friday 26th October @ 9.30.
Year 6 will lead the festival with each class will performing during the festival.
We have a number of items in the junior department which have not been claimed. These items will be on show in the junior yard at the end of the day on Monday 14th October 2018.
Any clothes left after this date will be donated to local charity shops.
A group of children from our year 5 and 6 enjoyed a fun day at Porth Community School where they were able to show off their netball skills and make some new friends.
They had lots of fun and look forward to the next festival.
Lots of work from last years Mrs Rogers’ class will be on display at the Workers Gallery in Ynyshir from October 4th - 20th, from 11am - 4.30pm, pop along and see their fabulous work!
